"We have been made by God FOR God. To operate with only the taste of love we get on earth will leave us incomplete. That's by design. Our hearts have been made to cry out for a love that can come only from our Creator. ... Emotionally, every human being is designed to crave lavish, unfailing love. (See 1 Corinthians 13)"
This week, I read this statemnet in Do You Think I'm Beautiful. Amazed that God could know exactly what I am struggling with. I feel used, betrayed, and wanted only for the reason of selfishness. But I was not created for that. I was created for the God of the universe, who wants to give me that unfailing love I see. I wanted to be complete in seeking the love and attention from others... but it wasnt the love and attention I need. Why can I not be totally content lately? Please pray that I find that contentment I had only a few weeks ago. To feel the love so completly. To not care what others thought and did. I want that feeling agian.
Isaiah 54: 10 "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee."
Ephesians 3:14-19 "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."
God truly hears our cry. His word is full of replys to that cry. The book ends this section of answering these hard questions like this (speaking from God's perspective):
"IF you could only grasp how wide and how long how high adn how deep, then you'd know, yes, I really love you. Do you wonder if you are to far away from Me? My love is wider still. Do you think that you've been away too long? My love will wait longer. Do you believe that no one would ever want someone like you? My love is higher then all others. Have you been sure that you are too far gone? My love is deep enough to reach even you. You cannot fall past My love. You cannont outrun MY love. You cannont reach the end of My love. It is wide, and long and high and deep enough for you."
